the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place.

2013年3月，教育部袁貴仁部長在全國兩會上指出：“有教無類，因材施教，終身學(xué)習(xí)，人人成才”是中國教育夢，每一個教育工作者的夢想就是教育學(xué)生成為堂堂正正的中國人，成為能夠適應(yīng)21世紀(jì)世界發(fā)展潮流需要的有用人才�！笔迥昵�，我就是懷著這樣的教育夢想義無反顧地選擇了教師這個職業(yè)。十五年來，我用真情與執(zhí)著譜寫著屬于自己和孩子們的簡單的幸福。
有了愛，便有了一切；有了愛，便有了教育的源泉。大大的“愛”字，讓我真正走進(jìn)了孩子們的世界。2000年9月，學(xué)校安排我到一年級包班。開學(xué)第一天，一個叫昌錫明的男孩引起了我的注意，他經(jīng)常摔倒，摔倒后很難站起來，原來孩子患有先天性肌肉壞死癥。由于疾病的原因，每當(dāng)間操和體育課，錫明就像一只被關(guān)在籠子里的小鳥一樣孤零零地坐在教室里。第二天課間操時我緊緊地握住錫明的手說：“走，我們一起做操去！”我讓他站在班隊的最前面，看著他做操。他站不穩(wěn)了，我馬上扶住他；他摔倒了，我馬上抱起他，他疲憊了，我用雙肩支撐他，他可能受到?jīng)_撞時，我用自己的身軀保護(hù)他。課間操結(jié)束了，我再將他攙回教室。從那天起，每天的間操時，全校師生都會看見我領(lǐng)出一個孩子，又扶回一個孩子。就這樣，轉(zhuǎn)眼就是幾年。有時，小錫銘上廁所不方便，他實在不好意思總是麻煩同學(xué)，就偷偷地在別的班的衛(wèi)生區(qū)里撒了尿。我知道后總是自己悄悄地打掃干凈。一天，我在書中發(fā)現(xiàn)了一張小紙條，上面寫著“老師，謝謝您，謝謝您無私的愛！”看著那熟悉的字跡，我的心不斷在震顫，眼圈也在不自覺中潮濕了。

2008年10月，我主動提出在班級進(jìn)行教學(xué)改革。消息一傳出，就掀起了軒然大波。有的老師說我是出風(fēng)頭，老師一直這樣教，學(xué)生一直這樣學(xué)，不是你說改就能改的。家長有的到學(xué)校找我，有的給我打電話，他們都不想讓我用他們的孩子做實驗！得知消息的丈夫也開始埋怨我自找麻煩。面對著方方面面的阻力，我猶豫過。但一想到班里那么多天天辛苦學(xué)習(xí)的孩子們，想到他們被強迫接受學(xué)習(xí)，機械練習(xí)、死記硬背的樣子，我就又堅定起來。慶幸的是，我的教改計劃得到了學(xué)校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的支持與鼓勵，這也給了我無窮的動力。我就暗下決心，不但要實施教改，而且一定要成功。于是我自己拿著攝像機主動要求外出聽課，發(fā)現(xiàn)好的作法就錄下來，回到家里一邊反復(fù)看錄像，一邊查閱教改資料，一邊鉆研自己的教改方法。一個又一個不眠的夜晚，一遍又一遍的反復(fù)推敲，終于換來了我自己清晰的教改計劃。我跟家長們說：“我們的孩子在長期的灌輸式學(xué)習(xí)中變得內(nèi)向、被動、缺少自信和創(chuàng)造性。因此，我要通過教改培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取知識的能力、分析解決問題的能力以及交流合作的能力�！奔议L終于被我說服了，臨走時他們用仍有疑慮的目光告訴我，自己肩上的擔(dān)子更重了。
葉圣陶先生說過，教師之為教，不在全盤授予，而在相機誘導(dǎo)。這就要求實施教改的我一定要完成角色上的轉(zhuǎn)變，由課堂的主導(dǎo)者變成引導(dǎo)者。我教改的第一步就是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的質(zhì)疑能力。已習(xí)慣老師提問的學(xué)生聽到現(xiàn)在要他們自己提問時個個面面相覷。于是我要求每個學(xué)生在做預(yù)習(xí)時都要提問。課堂檢查預(yù)習(xí)時，對提出有新意問題的學(xué)生大加表揚。漸漸的，學(xué)生問題越來越多，針對性也越來越強，課堂隨之活躍起來。接著我開始培養(yǎng)學(xué)生解決問題的能力。我有意的把一些小游戲、小故事引進(jìn)課堂，有時還發(fā)動學(xué)生把一些玩具帶到課堂，營造一種輕松愉快的氣氛，學(xué)生爭著解答問題。那段時間我真是逢山開路，遇水搭橋！一刻也不敢放松的堅持著、嘗試著、探索著，越來越多的學(xué)生開始適應(yīng)我的新課堂模式。有一天，我在講授《刺猬漢斯》一課，當(dāng)問到文中的兩個國王誰對誰錯時，從不發(fā)言的魏德功第一次大膽的站了起來，他大聲地說：“這兩個國王的做法都對！從父親的立場出發(fā)，他們都希望自己的女兒幸福�！彼幕卮鹪獾酱蠹业馁|(zhì)疑，在同學(xué)們接二連三的追問中我發(fā)現(xiàn)魏德功有些堅持不住了，我當(dāng)即帶頭為他鼓起了掌。我從這個孩子與眾不同的回答中不但看到他敢于表達(dá)的勇氣，更讀懂了他的內(nèi)心，這個生活在離異家庭的孩子多么渴望父愛呀！第二天，我就主動聯(lián)系了魏德功的父親。原來，他的父親患有嚴(yán)重的疾病，根本不能照顧自己的孩子。當(dāng)我把孩子在校的表現(xiàn)告訴他時，一個高大的男人竟潸然淚下。這時我叫來了魏德功，孩子看到很久沒見到的蒼老的爸爸，他也哭了。就是從那天起，魏德功變了。每一堂課他都搶著發(fā)言，每次活動他都積極參加。魏德功的進(jìn)步讓原來和他一樣沉默的孩子看到了希望，于是我發(fā)動全班同學(xué)幫助他們，誰上網(wǎng)查到了資料就會主動地復(fù)印幾份，送給家里沒電腦的同學(xué)，大家互幫互助，資源共享，課堂上再也找不到一個沉默的.身影。課堂氣氛輕松、愉快，從始至終充滿學(xué)生質(zhì)疑聲、解答聲、討論聲、辯論聲、歡笑聲，吸引了很多老師來聽課，他們親切地叫我的學(xué)生“機靈鬼兒”、“小能豆”，法國教育家第斯多惠所說：“教學(xué)的藝術(shù)不在于傳授本領(lǐng)，而在于激勵、喚醒和鼓舞�！边@正是我不懈的教育追求。

I Am Tripping My Elephant Here
Once upon a time, a weenie ant was walking on his way. As he was walking, suddenly he felt the ground shaking terribly. He looked around with his paranoid eyes and saw an elephant walking right behind him. Quickly, the little ant covered himself with dirt, but one leg was unfortunately left out. A sparrow saw everything, so she flew down with the purpose of teasing the ant: “Hey, chicken! Watch out your leg, it’s out!” The ant felt embarrassed at first but then calmly responded: “ Shi?I am going to trip that elephant.”
Right now, I’m standing on this glamorous stage. But everything here reminds me of is a not so fun memory. Around this time last year I was in Nanjing competing in another speech contest. That was the first time for me to be in such a large event. Of course the pressure I was under was immense too. After a sleepless and stressful night, I went onto that stage without the feeling in my legs. That speech turned out to be horrible. I don’t remember how I get down from there, but I do remember afterwards I just wanted to find a hole to hide in just like the ant in the story. Back at my school, it took a long time for me to recover. Thanks to all the help I got from my special friends. My confidence was restored. After rounds of giving speeches and answering tough questions, I am here today. From all that I’ve been through I’ve learned that a good future is based on a forgotten past, if I want my life to go on well I have to let go of my past failure. So today, with out fear, I am tripping my elephant again.

一個人最可憐的是無知，最可悲的是自私，最可敬的是拼搏。不管我競選成功與否，我都會讓自私、無知與我無緣。只有那一股子拼勁，為大家，為班級做事。我在每次的英語考試中都能達(dá)到95分以上，成績很不錯，此外，我有著強烈的責(zé)任心，有豐富的.經(jīng)驗，可以幫助老師做一些力所能及的事。如果我競選成功，我一定會全心全意地為同學(xué)服務(wù)。每天早上，我會帶領(lǐng)同學(xué)們進(jìn)行早讀，并把同學(xué)的作業(yè)收齊。
我不僅英語學(xué)習(xí)成績好，而且我做的英文海報和我的英語書寫，也是很厲害的！我在業(yè)余時間里或假期里，我喜歡看英語報、讀英文書、唱英文歌……
我從二年級到五年級，都是英語課代表，所以我有決心和經(jīng)驗來承擔(dān)英語課代表這個職責(zé)。雖然我的口語能力還有待提高，但是我會繼續(xù)努力的！
如果我當(dāng)上了英語課代表，我會盡力為老師和同學(xué)服務(wù)！

Should Smoking in Public Places be Banned?
Nowadays many countries in the world have passed laws to ban smoking in public places. Some smokers claim that their rights are infringed if smoking is forbidden in public places. However, most non-smokers regard the ban as good news. As far as I’m concerned, smoking should be banned in all the public places such as restaurants, theaters and public squares.
On the one hand, smoking is harmful both for smokers themselves and others. It is reported that every year smoking causes millions of death around the world. On the other hand, smoking pollutes the air. Just imagine that you sit in a restaurant full of smoke, how can you enjoy your meal there? Besides, smoking is bad for the elevation of a country’s image in the world.
I believe if smoking is banned in all the public places, most of us will breathe in more fresh and clean air. And the health condition of all the people will be greatly improved.

1. 有良好的師德我為人處事的原則是：老老實實做人，認(rèn)認(rèn)真真工作，開開心心生活。自己一貫注重個人品德素質(zhì)的培養(yǎng)，努力做到尊重領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，團(tuán)結(jié)同志，工作負(fù)責(zé)，辦事公道，不計較個人得失，對工作對同志有公心，愛心，平常心和寬容心。自從參加工作以來，我首先在師德上嚴(yán)格要求自己，要做一個合格的人民教師!認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí)和領(lǐng)會上級教育主管部門的文件精神，與時俱進(jìn)，愛崗敬業(yè)，為人師表，熱愛學(xué)生，尊重學(xué)生，爭取讓每個學(xué)生都能享受到最好的教育，都能有不同程度的.發(fā)展。

如果我有幸競聘成功，能擔(dān)任四年級英語教師的話，我將從以下方面開展工作。
